The Cincinnati Local Soap Box Derby is the traditional Derby race that started in 1934. The winners of each division move on to Akron to represent Greater Cincinnati in the All-American Soap Box Derby.

Cincinnati only runs Stock and Super Stock divisions. Trophies are awarded up through eighth place in both divisions! All drivers must race in the Local race closest to their permanent residence. If you live outside the immediate Cincinnati area please contact us ahead of time to confirm if we are your race city.
